::
proceso de pudrición (a<= 0.1).
::
Wood
extractives of Nothofagus dombeyi (Mir).BI. were studied
for incidence on decay, under laboratory conditions, by Gloeosema
vitellinum (Lév) Bres., using weightloss analisis.
This
study was completed using methodology based on different microbiological
concepts and standars. The woody subtrate was differentiate according
to its functions of xylem, extractives and interaction effects.
Relevant conclusions were obtained such as:
::
The presence of extractives increases the weightloss rate
in the natural substrate, up to four weaks after iniciating the
decay process (P<= 0.01).
::
During the sixth, eight and tenth week, the weightloss phenomena
was not observed. For the selected time periods the increment
of weightloss of the leached substrate is significatly greater
(P<=0.05) than the natural substrate.
